ABOUT US

WELCOME! You’ve reached the website formerly known as havingfunyet.ca. We still offer the same exciting STIGA® products. In fact, we were working so hard on our products that our website became... ahem... a little outdated. But we really believe our customers should have as much fun on our website as we do in the office. Okay... okay... maybe we forgot to update the website because we were playing a little too much STIGA table hockey. In any event, come on in, make yourself comfortable and feel free to look around. You’ll learn STIGA history, find assembly information, and maybe even pick up a table hockey tip or two. Oh yeah... and we also have a full listing of STIGA products! We even carry STIGA replacement parts... in case we're not the only ones playing a little too much table hockey.

Serving thousands of Canadians since

The History of the STIGA® Hockey Table Game

The STIGA Hockey Table Game was invented by a Canadian (of course) named Don Munro in 1932. Because of the depression, Don couldn't afford Christmas gifts. But all it took was a Canadian, ingenuity, a little scrap wood, and some coat hangers in order to create the first hockey table game. Soon every Canadian wanted one and they were flying off shelves at Eaton’s. Production of the legendary hockey table game has since been entrusted to several companies. From 1957 onward, however, that sacred duty has rested upon a lone Swedish company. Ever hear of STIGA®? Are you still not sure that you can trust them!? Well...STIGA's initial PRO Hockey Table Game was a huge success, selling 250,000 units in just two years. And we've played a lot of table hockey since then! Today, it's over 4 million games later and STIGA is as proud as ever to make THE official hockey table game of the International Table Hockey Federation.

The History of the STIGA® GT Snowracer

A STIGA engineer by the name of Erland Wikner designed the first GT snowracer in the early 1970’s. Since then, we've sold millions. And along the way, we've come up with some great new designs, too! Look at our product catalog to learn more about the maneuverable 'Curve' ski system. Or, if you prefer extreme sledding with tricks, you might be interested in our SX snowracers. Too scared to sled alone? Try bringing a buddy along for the ride on a King snowracer. Do you love sledding and also love the environment? Well, we invented the BIO snowracer just for you! However you prefer to go downhill, we think you'll have a lot more fun on a STIGA snowracer!
